Our town does fireworks on the third. My sister and her family were in town on a little vacation, so they joined us at the fireworks. We also met up with other families in our church.

Canon was so brave and rode all by himself without me walking beside him.

I forgot Harper's pacifier in the car. Not a good idea when it is late.
Canon was worried all evening about the fireworks being loud, but ended up sitting with his cousin and a friend from church during the fireworks. He held his ears at the beginning and then didn't have to cover them anymore. We were so proud of him. He is our timid one.

We had a great evening.
On the fourth, my sister's family came to hang out. It poured down rain all day, so we did a lot of indoor activities. We ate pizza at Brixx, then headed to see Monster's University. This was Canon's second movie he has ever seen at the movie theater. Overall he did really well. Jess was kind enough to stay back with Harper while she napped.
After the movie, we got a bite to eat, then went to the hotel where my sister was staying and let the kids swim in the indoor pool. Jess had bought a children's firework pack, so after getting back from the pool Canon and Jess did the fireworks. Canon loved it. We had a great day celebrating and spending time with family.
