Life in our new home and town

We have been in our new home for almost three weeks. It has been a lot of work to get unpacked and get the house looking like a home. We have made a lot of progress, but still have a lot to do. We love our neighborhood. Thankfully it has been wonderful weather mostly, so we have spent a lot of time outside and with that comes getting to know people, which has been great. The kids seem to be adjusting okay. We miss our friends greatly, but we are thankful they are only an hour away and have had the chance to some of them since our move.

Our house right before the moving truck came.

Canon playing in the garage while I unpacked the kitchen.

We signed Canon up for t-ball before we moved, so he would have something to be a part of right away. It has been such a great experience. The coach is so organized and the kids really do have a good time while learning the game. We have met a few families and everyone has been so friendly.

Canon excited for his first game!

I am biased, but he is pretty good. When he gets ready to bat, he waves to Jess and me as he is running to bat. It warms my heart every single time. He also waves to us while he is on the bases. Sweet boy I tell ya.

After his second t-ball game he was awarded the game ball. Jess and I were so proud of him. He was listened to his coach, stayed focused, played well, etc. I have been such a sap lately, so I of course cried. :)

Watching The Land Before Time on the computer while snuggling with their blankets.

Tried out one of the area parks one morning.

Introducing Canon to Andy Griffith. I think he likes it.

Snuggles with my little girl while daddy and C were out on a "guy" night.

Thankful for all the people that helped us during this transition. We are very grateful.
