Easter Activities

We did a few Easter activities leading up to Easter. We had a great a time having fun with Easter, but also had many conversations about the "real" reason for Easter.

The kids' Easter shirts I made.

Church Fellowship and Easter egg hunt after church one afternoon.

She was serious about those eggs.

We had some friends over one afternoon for some fun activities. We made bird nests, had an egg spoon race, did an egg toss, had an egg/race car race, painted with eggs, and had a special egg lunch. Obviously it was an egg themed get together. :)

Putting eggs on the bird's nest.

Egg lunch

Racing eggs and cars down the ramp Jess and I made one evening.

The weekend before we headed back to H'ville to take Canon to our beloved pediatrician, visit with friends, and take Easter flowers to Will's grave. We had such a great time catching up with a few friends and for being in familiar territory.

My kids love Marisa! We miss her...

He was so sweet. He wanted to help tidy up around Will's grave and wanted to put the flowers out by himself.

So thankful for all of the fun we had around Easter, but more importantly thankful for Jesus's sacrifice  he made for each one of us. We can rejoice that He lives!
