I am so behind on life. I feel like it is taking all we have to keep our head above water lately. Mid February we got our house completely ready to be put on the market. That took a lot of work. Our house was listed on a Friday evening and we had five showings the next day. We had an offer that Sunday. We countered on Monday and had two more house showings. That same evening, we had a contract. It went very quickly. We are so thankful and God's timing on everything has been perfect! So now we've been having work done on the house, the house inspection, the termite inspection, etc. It has been busy.
Commuting an hour to church and activities is getting to be a lot. Thankful we only have a few more weeks of it. We move in 2.5 weeks. I am excited, but it is bittersweet. I think I am more sad for Canon than anyone. He only has two days of Mother's Day Out left. He has been with some of the same children for three years and has made some sweet friendships. He is also showing a few signs of anxiety about moving even though he will tell you he is excited if you ask him. I have also been really emotional about having to leave Will's grave. I know I will only be an hour away, but it's all I have. :(
Harper thankfully is feeling so much better and is back to normal. We are thankful her eating and energy is back. We have had no sickness for two weeks (knock on wood)! Harper is also starting to repeat so many words. She is a sweet heart.
Last weekend the kids stayed overnight with Jess's parents for the first time without us. They have never stayed anywhere besides our house without us. This was a big step for me, but a good step. It was time to let go a little. :) I am a slow learner sometimes. Jess and I had a great 36 hours together. It was a much needed break.
Now to some random pictures -
Sweet siblings.
Been trying to take lots of walks on warmer days.
Hanging out in our friend's laundry room in their basement during a bad storm.
Canon wants a dog so badly, so he plays "puppy" daily almost.
We had a little snow to play in a few weeks ago. He had a blast.
No words for this picture. :)
Been trying to create and learn my silhouette cameo.
Playing in the garage.
Lunch date to The Pharmacy with Jess while the kids were at their grandparents.
We are so close to moving into our new home.
Happy girl before being toted everywhere that day.
The rest of our month is pretty full before we move. Trying to spend as much time with friends before we move.
