Pumpkin Patch

We have made it a family tradition that we go to a pumpkin patch every year in October. Last year Canon and I went by ourselves. Harper was just a few weeks old and it was so cold, so Canon and I had a little mother/son date to one of the smaller pumpkin patches. This year (October 12), we all went and had a great time. We did just about every activity there was to do, ate a picnic lunch I had packed, and had a free scoop of ice cream. It was a beautiful day, we even got sun burnt a little.

Hayride to pick your own pumpkin.

I love how decisive Canon is on what he wants. You tell him to pick something out and he finds what he wants and then he is done. No wavering.

Playing in the corn bin. Canon was the exact same age as Harper when we took him to a pumpkin patch in North Carolina for the first time. He freaked out about the corn and would not let go of me. Harper is the opposite of her brother. She is not fearful and just does whatever you have her do.

Train ride.

Sliding.

Jess took Harper down the slide a couple of times and she would just giggle. So cute!

We had a wonderful morning/afternoon. We will be keeping our tradition for sure!!
