Happy First Birthday Harper Grace

Happy Birthday Harper Grace! 

What a joy this little girl is! I can't imagine life without her in it. I can't believe this past year as gone so fast. I have wonderful memories of her arrival and our time in the hospital. You can read her birth story here. Harper's first few months of life were a little rocky as she was colicky, but she got it all out of her system because she is a go-with-the-flow kind of girl. She has such a sweet spirit and a contagious smile. I can not get enough of her toothy grin. 

About our sweet girl -

She is very active.

A lover of food. A few favorites include - blueberries, cheese, puffs, noodles, yogurt, and strawberries. 

Obsessed with her brother. These two have the sweetest bond.

A mama's girl.

Loves bath time or swimming in the pool.

Has 4 teeth that have poked through. She is working on three others at the moment.

Loves to go on walks in the stroller.

Standing on own for up to 10 seconds and getting more brave. Not walking quite yet.

Takes two naps most days. She is the not the greatest of nappers these days.

Loves her pacifier!

Sleeps with a monkey lovie and a stuffed sheep that her daddy bought her.

Likes to give her daddy kisses.

Can now sign "more" and "please". 

Likes to stick her pointer finger out at anyone and everyone.

Content pretty much anywhere she is.

Likes to be held anytime she has the chance. Reaches up all the time.

Is into EVERYTHING. 

Really into playing peek a boo and being really silly when she does it.

Starting to have a strong interest in baby dolls and having books read to her. 

It seems as though her favorite animal is the cow. She gets very excited when she sees cows in books.

Is incredibly happy in the mornings.

In 12 month clothing and a few 9 month clothing still.

Size 12 to 18 month shoe. Can still wear size 2 shoes, but could fit into 3's as well.

Size 3 diapers.

On September 6th, she weighed 19 lbs 3 oz.

Jess and I are incredibly thankful for Harper's life and that we get to be the ones to raise her. What an honor and a blessing to be her parents. We love our red headed, blue eyed baby girl.
