On October 19th we threw Canon a tractor birthday party.
I started planning Canon's party weeks before Harper was born because I knew I wouldn't have the time or energy to do it all once she was here. I tried to buy what I could before her birth and this past week my mother in law watched the kids so I could go grocery shopping for all the food and last minute things. Surprisingly, I was pretty laid back about it all and it turned out just the way I wanted it to. We decided to make it smaller this year, so we just invited family and three of Canon's friends and their family. A few people couldn't come last minute due to sickness and being out of town, but Canon had a blast and everyone seemed to enjoy the food and fellowship.
Here are the pictures from his party.
Warning - Photo Overload.
We were going to have all the tables outside, but it was chilly outside and the wind was blowing. We decided to only put one table outside and the rest inside.
Party favors.
The table out on the deck.
Praying before the meal.
The kids were so excited about the cake.
Pumpkin painting
The hay bale toss.
Opening gifts
My sister in law and her new baby, Bren. Harper and Bren are only three weeks apart.
I enjoy putting parties together for Canon.
The birthday celebrations are officially over for Canon's birthday. :)
We love you Canon!
