We have been trying to get to a pumpkin patch this entire month, but the few times we have had the chance, the weather did not cooperate. Our last chance to go was this past Sunday and since it was super windy and chilly, Canon and I headed out to a local pumpkin patch for a mother/son date. I miss spending one on one time with Canon, so it was so good for us! We bundled up and had a blast.
We hit up the hayride first. We also rode it right before we headed home as well.
Then we headed to do all the fun activities: corn hole, football toss, slides, we shot some whiffle ball with a big sling shot, the corn cannon (which he was terrified of), and lots of other things.
Sitting on the saucer after sliding (with mommy) on the big slide.
I always let Jess do these things with him, so I was a little nervous myself to go on this slide. I kept telling Canon he needed to be a little bit older, but he wouldn't have it, so we headed down together. We both liked it and had a lot of fun counting down and screaming as we rode down.
We had a wonderful time and I am so thankful I had this one on one time with Canon.
