I started this post a few weeks ago, so I thought I would finish it.
These past few weeks have been pretty good. Having two children at home has been easier in some aspects than I thought, but hard as well. Harper is pretty easy going so far. I do think she is struggling with reflux, but it doesn't seem to be as bad as Canon had it so far.

The first week and a half at home we were having difficulties with breast feeding. Harper was so tired that she wouldn't wake up long enough to get a full feeding in, so we were trying to supplement her with pumped breast milk through a syringe or with a bottle. Because she wouldn't take a full feeding she wasn't gaining weight fast enough for the pediatrician, so we went to the pediatrician every other day for a while to get weight checks. As of this past Wednesday she weighs two ounces more than she did at birth! On Wednesday (October 3rd) she weighed 6 pounds 4 ounces. She is doing much better with feedings now for which I am very grateful.
My mom stayed for a week and then came back a week later for a couple of days to help. She has been a major help. She has done our laundry multiple times, gotten up in the middle of the night, cooked, cleaned, played hard with Canon, etc. I have told her she can come back any time she wants.
I also had a friend come all the way from Florida. Our families were at seminary at the same time and we got to know each other really well and we cherish their friendship so much. She was so helpful with cooking, driving me around, taking care of my children (she is a mommy of two as well), etc. We even got out and saw a movie (thanks to Jess for watching the kids).

My aunt made this and it is super cute!
Getting a little sun light in front of the door.
Laurie went to the grocery store for ingredients for this amazing dessert she wanted to make. She literally spent well over an hour on this dessert and on the final step it slipped right off the counter onto the floor. And what did we do? We scooped off the top layer into a bowl and ate it! It was so delicious!!

Love the update on family life with two at home. Having two at home was the most difficult transition for me. Sweet family pic :)
