On Will's actual first birthday/anniversary we had a family day. Jess was able to take the day off, so it was nice to be together as a family. For Canon's 2nd birthday we took him to go get a donut on his birthday, so we decided to go get donuts in honor of Will's birthday. It kind of ended up being a bust because the donut place we went to for C's birthday was closed for the day, so we ended up going to another local shop, but the donuts weren't near as good. After donuts we headed to buy balloons. We always buy one balloon Canon can let go and watch in the sky. We also let him pick one out he wanted to take home. After balloons we headed out to the cemetery.
Here are the paper pinwheels we had everyone sign. I took a few pictures before we decorated his grave.

We had about 27 paper pinwheels signed to set out!
After the cemetery we headed home for lunch and naps.
After naps we headed out to Cheddars for dinner. We had a nice day remembering our sweet Will!

Hi Rachel, Oh my goodness I am so happy to have found you! I am from TN. I love Tn and miss it so much. CA is waaaay different. I can not tell you the joy I feel to be able to read your story.
