A few weekends ago (September 16th & 17th) Jess and I went back to Murray (where we attended college) for a wedding. Our friends Mike and Casey got married and Jess officiated their wedding, Jess's first. Mike and Jess were great friends and roommates in college. Mike was a groomsman in our wedding. Mike, Jess, and Casey all worked together at summer camp one summer.
We decided to keep Canon at home with my mom. We were so excited to see so many friends that we hadn't seen in a very long time. We were also looking forward to staying with our sister in law and niece.
Friday, we met up with Clayton (also a great friend, roommate, and a groomsman in our wedding) and Courtney for a few minutes before the boys went off to explore Murray. I hung out with our sister in law and niece before heading over to the rehearsal.
Even though this was Jess's first wedding, he ran the entire rehearsal and did a great job. It was so fun to see all the boys reunited. In college all the guys were a sight to see. They were always goofing off and were so fun. Things went right back to the way they were and they were very entertaining. It made me miss college. After the rehearsal dinner the guys played volleyball and sat around and talked until very late while us wives sat and talked.
The day of the wedding the guys hung out all day. I slept in and took my time getting ready. Erin and my niece, and I met some of my friends (wives of the groomsmen) for lunch at Dumplin's. After lunch we headed to the bookstore to get some updated Murray t-shirts. Then it was time to get ready for the wedding. The wedding was beautiful and simple. Jess did a wonderful job! The reception was full of dancing, lots of laughs, and great food!
It was such a great weekend! I loved seeing everyone and catching up!!

An hour before the wedding Jess came up to me with mountain dew all over his tie. When the guys were decorating the newly weds car a mountain dew busted. Since I am a mom I always carry baby wipes in my purse, so I went to town on his tie. After the ceremony two of the groomsmen got cotton candy on their rented tux shirts. Being one of the only moms within the group I had the boys lined up ready for my services on getting the cotton candy out with baby wipes. ;)
This is such a typical picture of these guys.

Until the next wedding...
