Pumpkin Patch

October 1st Jess, Canon, and I headed to the pumpkin patch. We went to one last year and had such a great time, we wanted to go again this year. It was a beautiful cool day and we had a blast!

Our first activity - Playing in the corn pit. Last year Canon was terrified of playing in the corn. This year he very much enjoyed it.

Then, we headed to the big trampoline. He wasn't too sure about it, but he had a good time with his daddy keeping him safe.

After jumping on the trampoline we waited to ride the pumpkin train. Jess and Canon rode on some tricycles while I waited. It was worth the wait.

Riding the pumpkin train.

After the train ride, we headed to watch some pigs race.

We ate lunch, then headed to pick out the perfect pumpkin. It was so neat to watch Canon pick out his pumpkin. He went to one pumpkin, picked it up, then decided he didn't want that one. He went to another one, picked it up, and handed it to me and walked away. He knew what he wanted and that was that. It is fun to see his personality unfold.

Our last few activities included going down some pretty cool slides and then riding the cow train.

What a great family day!
