Praise baby and a blanket

Canon all snuggled up in a blanket this morning after we woke up. 

Immediately after Canon awakened (after 12.5 hours of sleep) I had to change him because he had soaked through his pjs. He was so cold and in a snuggly mood, so we laid on the couch and watched Praise Baby. After about 15 minutes he wanted to eat, but wouldn't take his arms out of the blanket. Eventually he decided eating was more important. 

I had plans to run errands this morning, but decided against it. I just wanted to hang out and have a relaxing day with Canon. We have watched lots of TV (which is very rare), played musical instruments, laundry, and have worked on our colors while coloring and drawing together. 

Here is Canon coloring. He is also doing so well on learning his colors. He pretty much knows red, blue, green, yellow, black, and purple. We added orange and brown today.

I am trying to be more aware of teaching Canon and letting him help me do every day things around the house, so he helped me do laundry this morning. He stood on a chair and threw all the clothes in and poured the soap in. After every load I would put the clothes on the floor and have him load the dryer. He enjoyed and so did I. Once we wakes up from his nap, we will do more laundry. If I could just get him to fold all of it and put it away we would be golden! ;)
