Life of the Rainers

Lots of thoughts....

I am taking a break from cleaning and doing laundry. Canon is down for a nap (thankfully)! I never know how long he is going to sleep, so I probably shouldn't be taking a break, but my dirty dusty house will always be waiting for me.

Some of my thoughts...

1. Thinking about starting to wean Canon and start formula. This is freaking me out and making me sad, but I think it is time. I called the lactation consultant this morning and now waiting for her call back so I can ask lots of questions. I am not totally ready yet to stop all together, but possibly supplementing and then in the next couple weeks giving formula for a few feedings. Please be praying for this transition. I never thought it would be this emotional for me!
2. Jess is almost done with the book!! YAY! I am so glad he has had this opportunity to write this book, but Golly Gee I am ready to have my husband back! This has been a tough last 6 months! Please hear me though - I am so glad he took on the project and I am SO proud of him!!
3. So excited to go to Murray, KY 4th of July weekend! Murray State is where Jess and I both attended and graduated college, we have not been to Murray since Jess graduated over 3 years ago. Anyway, the reason we are going is because our sister in law (Erin) is having a baby. She is being induced on the 25th of June. We can not wait to meet our niece, Maggie Elizabeth!!
4. Looking so forward to VACATION!!!! We are leaving July 16th for Florida!!! Jess and I are beyond excited to get away. It will be a perfect vacation. For the first few days Jess's parents will be vacationing with us and then the last few days my parents will be with us. In the middle of the trip we will have a few days by ourselves as a family! Ahhh I can't wait!
5. At the end of July our dear dear friends are coming home from the mission field. Oh I can't wait to see them and get my hands on their babies!!
6. In August we hope to make a trip to see our nephew after he is born!! Can't wait to meet our nephew, Nathaniel Thomas!!

Have so much to look forward to in the next few months! It makes me a little stressed, but who cares when you are going to be with family and friends! Please pray for all of our travels and that Canon will stay healthy! Thanks for listening to all of my thoughts!
