Anyone else confused?

So I guess blogger has changed some things up and I am more confused than ever with all the layout/template stuff. I have changed my background in the last few days like 6 times I think. ha! I can't figure out how to get my top picture centered. Oh well!

Anyway I was thinking today about how much Canon loves to be read to. Between Jess and I, Canon gets about 6 to 9 books read to him daily! We have a nap time ritual that involves reading and then we also read to him throughout the day. If we read to him while he is sitting on our lap he tries to eat the books, but if we read to him while laying down he just lays there with his eyes fixed on the book. It is the most precious thing! It is just amazing how well he listens and if/when you get really animated reading the book he looks over at you and just laughs! I hope he always loves to be read to and also loves to read himself when the time comes. I can't wait until he gets older and we can get into a series and do crafts and lessons pertaining to the book series!

So here are a few of his favorite books (how I know is the way he listens and how he smiles and laughs at them). :)

-Are You My mother? (the condensed version)
-A Night Night Prayer by Amy Parker (this is a Christian book, such a GREAT book. I know it completely by heart)
-Itsy Bitsy Spider by Kate Toms (such a fun book and you can find it at Walmart)
- I Love Bugs by Philemon Sturges
- Grandmas Are for Giving Tickles by Harriet Ziefert
-Eyes, Nose, Fingers, and Toes (A Sesame Street book)
-Johny Tractor's Fun Farm Day by Dena Neusner (a good book for recognizing colors)

There are a lot more that we read consistently, but these are a few of the favorites!

Love,
Rachel
