Harper's birthday was September 17th. We had a great day celebrating her.
That morning we met Jess for donuts at Krispy Kreme. After donuts we met some friends at the park. I brought rice krispie treats and drinks. After the park we headed home for a nap. For dinner I made Harper's favorite foods - spaghetti, broccoli, and watermelon. Jess's parents were able to come for dinner as well. We really had such a great day!
Harper is 34 inches tall and 23 pounds. She is wearing mostly 18 and 24 month clothing and size 4 diapers.
She is our no fear child. She loves to jump and climb on anything. She may be petite, but loves to eat. Some of her favorite foods include - spaghetti, broccoli, watermelon (but really any type of fruit), yogurt, fruit snacks, and popsicles. She loves any type of drink and wants to eat the ice. She is so nurturing and motherly. She loves to play with baby dolls, but also loves to play with cars and trucks. She is still a mommy's girl. Her favorite song right now is The Itsy Bitsy Spider. She loves to pray at meal times and before bed. She likes to sit in your lap and look at books, she really doesn't want you to spend the time to read them much. She has really taken of with her speech in the last couple of months. She has such a sweet voice and I love hearing her talk and come up with sweet ways of saying things. One of my favorite things she says is, "Bless you Momma", after I sneeze. She has such a sweet spirit and she has been such a blessing to our family in so many different ways.
Waiting for daddy to get her donut ready.
The not so fancy cake I made her. It may not look too pretty, but it tasted great. The home made cream cheese icing seals the deal. :)
If she is in to anything besides baby dolls, she seems to like Minnie Mouse. She sleeps with a Minnie Mouse stuffed animal my sister got her every night.
Playing outside before presents and cake.
With her "JoJo".
We love you Harper, Harper Grace, Gracie!!
