August Overview

Again, we had another busy month in August.

The day before we left for the beach, Jess had the opportunity to meet George W. Bush!  Then the next morning we headed to the beach. We had a great time getting away. It was surprisingly pretty relaxing. This was the first time we didn't have other family going with us since having kids so I was a little worried how it was going to go. It was so nice just being together and having no agenda for the most part. I will write a separate post about vacation later (hopefully soon).

The next weekend after vacation my family came in for a family friend's wedding. It was located where we live, so everyone stayed with us. I love weddings anyway, but it was also very nice to see people I hadn't seen in a while.

H did not go to the weeding, but since all the girls were getting their nails done, my sister did her nails as well. H is such a girly girl.

Canon did not go to the ceremony, but did come to the reception.

Canon loves his Pops.

My handsome son.

The wedding was beautiful and I am glad we were able to go.

Canon has been asking for a very long time to go to Chuck e Cheese, so he had his first experience at Chuck e Cheese this month. Jess's parents picked him and took him there for the evening. He had a wonderful time. He can't wait to go again.

We were able to go swimming at our neighborhood pool numerous times with our neighborhood friends. I am just amazed at Canon't swimming ability.

Here are some random pictures from August.

H dressing up again. She is a trip...

Training them right! :)

Movie and popcorn night again.

Harper ready for college football.

We had the third annual Rainer/Wheeler Wilson County Fair Adventure!
We just love this family and have such a good time together.

Of course I made everyone watch the livestock shows.

I had a girl's night out with two of my best friends. We painted pottery and then went out to dinner and ice cream. Love these girls.

Before it was fired.

Right before turning them in.

On the last Saturday of the month we went to the Farmer's Market. We had some pretty tasty donuts and had fun walking around and listening to music.

Thankful for such a busy month of fun.
