Christmas Happenings and Traditions

On December 1st our town had their annual Christmas parade. The kids really enjoyed it. Canon was not afraid this year. Harper is starting to show fear about a few things, but she did really well.

On December 6th we went to Opryland to see all of the sights. We have done this every year since living in the area. We visited with Santa. Canon could not wait to sit on his lap this year. He asked for  an airplane (he has asked for an airplane every year). Harper sat on Santa's lap, but after about a minute, she looked at Santa and started crying. We got a good picture before the tears started. We also looked at all of the decorations, took the boat ride, ate lunch, and went to their little kid land and rode the train.

On December 10th we went to the LifeWay Christmas program. My parents were able to come this year (Canon and I have been the last three years). It snowed a little during the night, so before we left for the performance Canon played out in the snow. The concert was very well done.

Sweet Harper after getting home from the concert and lunch.

Another tradition we have done the last three years is going to Chad's winter wonderland. It is about 40 minutes away, but it is worth it. We always pick up Chick fil a milkshakes and head to the light show. Harper is still rear facing in the car, so we got her out of her carseat as well as Canon.

I am so thankful for our traditions! Love my family!
