Harper's Baby Dedication and Mother's Day

Harper's baby dedication was on Sunday, May 13 which was Mother's Day as well. The Friday before my parents, sister, and niece came in for the weekend. On Saturday Jess and I participated in our community's garage sale. We were so happy to get rid of a bunch of stuff and also delighted to make a little money in the process. It ended up turning into a beautiful day, so we spent a lot of time outside. My dad grilled out for lunch and we just had a wonderful day spending time together. My mom was selfless enough to scrub our shower for hours. A single guy lived in our home before and needless to say, the bathroom was disgusting.

Sunday was a wonderful day. I very much enjoyed Harper's dedication and I loved having both sides of the family at church with us (Jess's parents also drove in on Sunday).  After church we came back to the house to have lunch. We had lunch catered so the women didn't have to cook. My family left shortly after dinner as did Jess's parents. Jess put the kids down and I took a two hour nap.

My sister and my niece.

Harper did great during the dedication. Her paci fell on the ground thirty seconds before being called up to the stage. She talked a lot, but didn't cry. :)

Harper was getting fussy during the rest of the church service, so my mom left with her and Harper feel asleep on her the rest of the service.

Our beautiful girl!

Our attempt to get a family picture. Canon was not having it.

What a great day of dedicating Harper to the Lord as parents and for celebrating being a mommy to our three precious children.
