This is the third year our church has helped put on the Easter Eggstravaganza. This is one of Jess's areas he helps organize and he always does such a great job. He is so organized and works hard on the event. There are some pretty awesome Grace Church volunteers too! There was a huge turnout and we were able to invite so many people to church!
The night before the egg hunt as we were putting Canon in bed he said he had an earache. He then woke up an hour and half later in tears he was in so much pain. He wasn't due for medicine yet, so we put warm compresses on his ear, got him upright, distracted him, watched TV, and read books until he could have more medicine. So Saturday morning before the hunt Canon, Harper, and I headed to pediatrician. He sure enough had an ear infection, got a prescription, and then headed to the egg hunt.
Here is Canon getting ready for the egg hunt.
Being silly.
Holding the basket for Canon because he was throwing the eggs in the basket and he kept missing.
Harper had no idea what was going on.
Harper girl sitting in the stroller while Canon and I ate a little lunch. She was so good. I carried her in the Ergo most of the time. She even took a nap on me for an hour while Canon jumped in the jump houses.
We had a great time! Canon really enjoyed all the jump houses, seeing his friends, eating cotton candy, and of course hunting eggs.
