Canon, Harper, and I headed to IL the first weekend in November for my niece's birthday. I was super nervous traveling with both kids by myself, but they both did amazing in the car. We only had to stop once each way to feed Harper.
We had a great weekend celebrating Emma. Bless her heart, she was so sick the entire time with a high fever and feeling yucky. Her party was at a jump house, so naturally Canon was in heaven. He can not get enough of these type of places. After her party, we headed back to my sister's house for a fish fry. Her father in law does all the cooking and it was delicious.
We also were able to have a short visit with my grandparents and introduce Harper to them.

Out of all her friends, Emma wanted to sit by Canon. So sweet.
A few weeks after Emma's birthday we headed back to IL for Thanksgiving. We had a great time of course and Canon always enjoys doing all the fun things at their house - fishing, riding 4-wheelers, and getting on Pops's tractor.
Harper was still in all day fussiness, so here is my dad holding and rocking her to give Jess and me a break. She passed around quite a bit. :)
My sister taking her turn. Sarah is actually very good at getting her to calm down and go to sleep. I love how she loves my kids.
Jess took Canon fishing a couple of times.
Everyone out fishing after Thanksgiving lunch. Canon is really good at casting his fishing pole.
On the way home from IL the kids slept almost the entire way home. I don't think Canon has ever slept that long at one time in the car.
I always love being with my family on Thanksgiving. So much to be thankful for!
