Last Pregnancy Update

We are officially on the count down as Harper is arriving in 5 days. Yikes!
We are super excited, but to be honest I am super nervous and anxious. I have to remind myself numerous times throughout the day to rely on the Lord and fight against letting my mind wander.

We had our last doctor's appointment on Monday. The doctor is super pleased how things are going and still feels great about our plan. We also had our last ultrasound. Harper did not want to show her face, so we didn't see her face. :) She is measuring in the 44th percentile and now weighs 5 lbs 13 oz and she will gain another half of a pound this week.

We are praying her lungs and body will be completely developed and will not need any assistance. We also pray she will be able to stay with us and not have to go to a special nursery and be able to come home with us when I am discharged. Will you please pray along with us? Also, for a safe and uncomplicated c-section!

As far as being ready for her, we are completely ready except for putting the car seat in the car. This week I have been cleaning, sterilizing bottles, pacifiers, and pumping accessories, and organizing kitchen cabinets. :) I have this desire to go through everything, but I know it won't all happen. Canon has been showing quite a bit of separation anxiety this week and I actually feel for him. He has been extra cuddly and weepy which of course then makes me weepy. It's just been us three at home for three years and we all know life is about to change dramatically (in a good way though).

I am feeling pretty good. Not sleeping well at night and very tired, but those are to be expected. I had some sciatica issues with Canon toward the end and just this past week I have been having those issues again, but it comes and goes. I have had a little bit more energy during the day the last couple of days which has been great for my cleaning and organizing. I don't have any major complaints. I am just thankful everything is going well. I actually enjoy being pregnant and always get a little sad when it comes to an end, but the end result is far better!!

35 weeks (September 8, 2012). These were taken at 10:00 at night, so if I look tired I was! :)
