Today would have been Will's First Birthday! I can not believe it has been a year since we welcomed him and said goodbye. Will has completely changed my life. I think about him everyday and wish he was here with us.
We have had a great weekend celebrating Will and honoring him in many ways. I will post about that later. Today Jess, Canon, and I have had a pretty low key day. Jess was able to take most of the day off, so that has been really nice. We started the day off by getting donuts, buying flowers and balloons, and visiting the cemetery. We decorated his grave with lots of pinwheels (post on that later as well) and flowers.
I wasn't sure how I would feel today. I thought I would get through today with flying colors, but that hasn't been the case. I have been pretty "blah" all day, but have really enjoyed all the emails, cards, texts, phone calls, and facebook messages. We have totally felt supported and loved! Thank you to all have prayed for us and encouraged us this past year. We could not have gotten through this year without so much support!
