Where to start?
I have refused to blog lately because I am overwhelmed by how behind I am in blogging, so I have just been putting it off. But I am too tired to do any house work or anything really, so I am on the couch and I might as well try to catch up.
So this will also be a blog full of events.
- Moved out of NC on December 14th. My mom flew to NC to drive with Canon and me. Jess followed the next day with the UHaul. We all missed the snow and ice, so we were very thankful for that.
- Stayed with Jess's parents in TN til the 23rd.
- Found a rental house the first full day we were in TN.
- Celebrated Christmas with the Rainers December 19 - 23rd. Both of Jess's brothers and their families were in town.
- Drove to Mt. Vernon, IL (my hometown) on the 23rd (my birthday). My mom fixed a wonderful meal in honor of me!
- Celebrated Christmas with my family! Stayed with my family til the 30th. Had a wonderful visit - hadn't been there since May.
- Came back to TN on the 30th. Got the keys to our house on January 2nd. Moved our furniture in the next day. Didn't stay the night in our new place til the 5th!
- Had our first preview service for Grace Church on January 9th!! More on that later!
We are doing well! This past month has been an whirlwind, but the Lord continues to show us his blessings and grace! We are loving TN, but still hold NC dear to our hearts! Jess is LOVING his new job and I love seeing him so happy!
So that has been our life in a nut shell. I will break down some of these happenings in other posts!
