Unnamed baby's room
I am pretty overwhelmed by what all has to be done with the house, especially the new baby's room, but this past week we got started (a little). Our house is pretty much unpacked (with the exception of the bonus room and garage - wow there is a lot to do in those 2 places), but there is still things to buy and to decorate. We are eating off a kitchen cart for meals and our bedroom doesn't have one thing hung on the wall.
So as far as the new baby's (unnamed - still) room this is what we have done so far. We ordered the crib this weekend. We decided to go with white this time, since Canon's furniture is expresso. I just wanted something different. We are going to use Canon's glider and we are going to get a dresser from my parent's house and paint it white. We are hoping to find a cheap bookshelf and changing table to go in the room as well.

I ordered his bedding earlier in the week. I ordered unisex bedding this time. I really wanted some cute boy bedding from pottery barn, but couldn't justify it. If we have a girl next I do not want to be buying a third bedding set. I wanted a chocolate and white set from PBK, but they are all on back order and I just can't wait for that, so I found this.

The decor in the room will be this green and chocolate brown. I have chocolate brown curtains and a rug from our old place that we aren't using that we will use in the nursery. This past week I found a really cute green and white lamp from Target and green shelves on sale at Target. Instead of tying the bumper with bows we will just do knots, so it doesn't look at girlie. When ordering this bedding a sheet came with the set, but you were able to pick which one you wanted (out of like 15) which I thought was cool. Anyway I ended up picking a green one that was boyish for sure. We will also pick up a cheap chocolate brown one somewhere too.
I also got this free from Uppercase Living to put up in his room. If you ordered before today (jan. 31st) and bought 2 items, you got one item free. I actually ended up getting 3 items free. Good deal if you ask me. Anyway, I think this is so cute, so this will go above his dresser or bookshelf.

So this is the start we have on our unnamed baby's room. Yes, I realize I keep harping on the fact that our baby does not have a name. It bothers me on the inside, but I keep telling myself it's not a big deal. We keep going back and forth between two names. We love both names, one is common and the other is not. They are both strong names and have deep meaning, so it's hard.
Let me know what you think and if you have any good ideas on the nursery. Just to clarify, alligators are not the theme. I am really not going with a theme except for the colors.

I think his room will be so cute! And I know the perfect name will come at just the right time. :) I like strong boy's name too!
