Baby # 2 on the way!

Jess and I found out on Sept. 3rd we will be adding to our family. Boy was it a surprise! I took a test while Jess was at work and Canon was napping. I made Jess come home from work (he only works a mile away) because I was freaking out a little. Anyway, we feel blessed beyond belief and we are looking forward to having another child! Any positive encouragement is accepted! Canon has no idea what is to come, but I have no doubt he will be such a great big brother!! Canon and the baby will be 18 months apart. I am due May 1st. We have had 2 ultrasounds already and everything seems to be going smoothly! We find out the sex at the end of this month!

I have been extremely sick with this pregnancy. I was sick with Canon, but not this sick. Now that I am almost 15 weeks along I am starting to see some improvement, but it has been a struggle. Some days I honestly did not know how I was going to take care of Canon due to the sickness. I have been on meds, but for a while it seemed as if they didn't do much. My mother in law came for a few days a while back to help out. She basically cleaned my entire house, fed Canon, put him down for naps/bed, did my grocery shopping, ect. My mom also came and did the same things for me! What a blessing they both have been! One of the worst things has been feeding Canon his baby food. One whiff of the vegetables and I am running to the bathroom.

Anyway, like I said I am starting to see improvement. I am eating more and more foods are appealing to me. I am very thankful!!

This picture was taken the night we found out. We kept him up late to skype with our family, so he is a little tired and grumpy in this picture!
