Going to the Chapel
Today (March 16, 2010) we got all dressed up and went to chapel to hear Granddad speak at Southeastern Seminary. Thom and Nellie Jo came in Monday afternoon. We were able to visit with them for a little while and have dinner with them. Today we went to chapel and then out to eat where the Akins, Nathan, and Hellams's joined us. Canon did pretty well in chapel. Canon and I sat in the very back just in case we needed to step out. Canon really enjoyed looking at all of the people and enjoyed the praise and worship part. He did well for most of the sermon, but got a little restless and wanted to talk. He started talking pretty loudly and at one time where Jess and his mom could hear him all the way on the front pew of the chapel, so I stepped out with him for a few minutes. I told Thom he started getting loud because he wanted him to stop speaking and play with him instead. ha!
We had a great visit with Jess's parents, but not long enough.
Here is a picture of Canon all ready for chapel.

Love,
Rachel
